Early Life
Ram Krishna Dhakal was born in the year 1974 in Nijgadh, Bara areaNepal. He started singing early when he followed the singing style of Narayan Gopal, a noted singer inNepal. Though he struggled during his early days, he soon garnered the nation’s attention and became one of the most admired Nepali singers present. While he was a kid, he satisfied his craving for singing by performing at the local functions and gatherings. His singing impressed everyone.
Musical Career
The song Orali lageko harin ko chhal bho gave him the break he needed. He styled his singing after Narayan Gopal. His singing is greatly inspired by the works of Narayan Gopal. He is a great fan of the maestro. After Narayan Gopal’s death, Ram Krishan filled the void he left behind with the support of music aficionados. He considers Gopal Karmacharya as his guru. He firmly believes that his popularity as a singer and the success of his albums are solely due to his guru’s guidance.

His foray into cinema started with the film Aashirbad in which he played the lead role. The story was rumored to be his life story. It depicted the struggles faced by a singer and traced his rise to become a popular icon. The film fared well mainly due to the hit songs included in it. He has released 10 albums so far and nearly all of his albums have A as the initial letter.
